hello all,
I wanted to share this diagram I got from the net showing the power of chess.

Even older people are encouraged to play chess to be less likely to have Dementia.

It's hard to think that chess can hurt someone.
of course, when I first played when I was little, I wanted to win. When my mum won, I swept the whole board with my hand in disgust. she told me that, in these conditions, she would not play again. My desire to play and learn overcame this first outburst. This was a wise learning. it works the same way in our life, we must accept our mistakes and learn to learn by them. In this way, we improve our judgement and wisdom. this is the great advantage to chess.

So what do think about the theory that chess can drive some people crazy? Can chess hurt and help people at the same time?
