Hi! A wonderful change in online chess - chessworld - People play chess with People, we converse, we talk, we make friends. It's exactly what Chess is intended to be - a means of connecting people. Surprisingly, online chess failed to be a great connection creator. Look at all those blitz and bullet games, millions of them. Ok, it's fun. But there is no connection, no thought, no friendship. Fire - and forget.
Here, with longer time controls, we have time to talk, to connect, to make friends, to think about moves (if one wants to think about moves)
To annotate games, to show what I was thinking about the game. To make connection, regardless of the result....
I am very happy that I found ChessWorld and became a member of the great family of Chess and People lovers!!

I am in my 70's and Chessworld has been an 'eye opener' regarding making friends WORLDWIDE over the board.
I have recently written an article for my late company's Pensioners Magazine to emphasise that membership of Chesworld can help avoid oncoming dementia.
