Detailed Game Search

You have selected the feature: Detailed Game Search which is only available to full members of Chessworld.net

Full Members can search for any one of over 5 million games in the ChessWorld database and study how the games were played. Looking back on previous games, from a variety of different players, is a useful way to improve the quality of your own game.

You can study your own games of course. Sometimes, however, you can more easily profit by studying other Members games and see how they handled particular Openings, or how they handled difficult situations on the board.

You can search the database using any one of a wide range of criteria. For example you could search for games where a stalemate occurred, or where a game was drawn, or won by checkmate. You can search for individual games or for Tournament games, as you wish, to suit your own particular interest.

Alternative searches, which can be extremely helpful, allow you to select a standard Chess Opening, as identified by the widely recognised ECO code, or you could choose a game that lasted for a particular range of moves or half moves.

You can search the ChessWorld Games Database from the Play Better ... Learn from Site Games page or from the What's Going On ... Games page where you simply click on the Detailed Game Search link.
